I don't really care if a year is used up. Its not ideal, but not terrible either. Matteau needs to be playing from here on out though. |

I just don't get what they're doing with Matteau. He has no points in 5 games and plays 8 minutes a night. When I saw him play with Kovy and Zajac a few games ago, he didn't know what he was doing with the puck when he had it, a player without a plan. I mean he's good at stealing it. Maybe we have a future Selke guy here... but...
Maybe they know something I don't...?

What about Loktionov? They didn't get him to be a minor leaguer. He has offensive ability and I think he should be with kovalchuk. Put Zajac on the wing with those two if necessary. |

What about Loktionov? They didn't get him to be a minor leaguer. He has offensive ability and I think he should be with kovalchuk. Put Zajac on the wing with those two if necessary.

Get him used to the system first, get him comfortable, then call him up.
No way in hell Zajac gets moved to wing. I doubt Loktionov will play with Kovalchuk at all in the near future. |
